Oscar De La Hoya to Fight in Dodger Stadium on May 3rd?

According to the Los Angeles Times, six-division champion Oscar De La Hoya is considering having his next fight take place in Dodger Stadium in May.  Although no formal proposal has been made yet, Oscar stated that it would be “history in the making.”  The first and last boxing card at the stadium was March 21, 1963, a tragic day for boxing.  Boxer Davey Moore died from a brain stem injury when he fell against the bottom ring rope.  Dodgers spokeswoman Camille Johnston said, "It's something we'd be happy to discuss with them if they give us a call.  It's an interesting possibility."  Source: LA Times
