Oquendo continues comeback with win over Mora

Fres Oquendo W10 Javier Mora... The rehabilitation of heavyweight Fres Oquendo continued on Thursday night, when he beat a local fighter, Javier Mora by unanimous decision over ten rounds in Temecula, California. The official scores were 98-92 (twice) and 96-93. Oquendo, now 26-3, had Mora nearly out on his feet in the first round, but the bell sounded, and Mora was able to clear his head during the break. It was Oquendo's second win after nearly two years of inactivity, and he looked better than the last time out, when he defeated southpaw Daniel Bispo over nine difficult rounds. Mora, coming off a win over Kirk Johnson in which Johnson hurt his leg and was ruled a loser by TKO, drops to 20-3-1. source: Fox SportsÂ
