Boxingtalk.com sat down with rising Philippine super star Rey "Boom Boom" Bautista and got an update on his shoulder injury, and his upcoming December 2nd fight against the tough Giovanni Andrade ( 52-9 ). Rey also touches on training with Freddie Roach, and comments on the upcoming rubbermatch between Manny Pacquiao and Erik Morales.


BT - What's up Boom Boom, how's camp going ?

RB - Thank you for giving me time to do this interview, camp is going good.

BT - How's your collarbone doing Rey ?

RB - My collar bone is doing good, it's back it's strong. I will be ready for December 2nd.

BT - You will fight Giovanni Andrade, talk about him a little bit.

RB - He's a bomber, and I know that so I will be disciplined and work on defense for this fight.

BT - I talked to Justin Fortune last time and he said that you want to kill everybody that you punch.

RB - (LAUGHING).

BT - What does Freddie Roach mean to you Rey ?

RB - Freddie Roach is a good trainer, and he knows what I lack, and what I need to improve on. Freddie knows what I have to do to be a better boxer.

BT - How long before you're ready for a world title Rey ?

RB - It's up to my manager, but I am ready.

BT - What are your thoughts on Manny Pacquiao and his fight with Erik Morales, how is Manny looking Rey ?

RB - Manny Pacquiao is definitely looking good, and he will win!
