Press Release: Boxeo Azteca Representative George Chung announced the IBF featherweight eliminator between Rogers Mtagwa and Orlando Salido will take place on One In A Million's already-scheduled show in Evansville, Indiana instead of in Memphis, Tennessee as originally announced. The date will be
March 18, 2006 at The Centre in Evansville. "Fortunately, the good people of the Midwest came to our rescue," said Chung, talking about the loss of the Memphis site. "One in a Million Promotions had a card already set in Evansville, so we made new plane reservations, contacted over 100 people involved in the fight, TV transmission and promotion and made our plans to move. Final airline, hotel, venue and production confirmations were made late Wednesday night." Azteca America will still broadcast the fight on its Boxeo Azteca program at 10 PM, East Coast time, as planned. Already on the show is a defense of the Indiana state lightweight title by Johnny Novak, alhtough it was not announced what other bouts will be televised.
