On the comeback trail: Yoan Pablo Hernandez

According to Germany's SES Promotions, former IBF cruiserweight champion Yoan Pablo Hernandez (29-1) is making a comeback. Hernandez, from Cuba, has not fought since 2014. He left the ring as the IBF 200-pound champion, defeating former WBA title holder Firat Arslan before injuries derailed Hernandez's career. On August 22nd in Elbau Park in Magdeburg, Germany, Hernandez will compete for the first time as a heavyweight, and his opponent will be American trialhorse Kevin "Kingpin" Johnson (34-17-1).  Hernandez said, “I still have that little spark in me . My boxing story isn't over yet. Boxing was and is my life. I am as fit and healthy as never before, so I can really look forward to this fight.” Also scheduled for the show are light heavyweights Adam Deines and Tom Dzemski in separate bouts.
