Ohara Davies has a new trainer in Angel Fernandez ahead of the Golden Contract semi-finals. Davies, from Hackney, England, is coming off a big win, having stopped stop previously-undefeated American Logan Yoon in the eight back in November.  Davies (20-2, 15 KOs) now enters the Golden Contract junior welterweight final four alongside Tyrone McKenna, Mohamed Mimoune and Jeff Ofori. The Golden Contract semi-finals are scheduled for February 21st.  Since the win over Yoon, Davies has joined forces with Spanish coach Fernandez, who helped mastermind Anthony Joshua’s clinical WBA/ WBO/ IBF world heavyweight title victory over Andy Ruiz at the end of last year.
