Allegedly tries to bury the hatchet... in sparring partner

According to the Associated Press, world cruiserweight champion O'Neil Bell was arrested over the weekend after sparring partner Larry Slayton claimed he heaved a hatchet at him during a training run through the Big Bear woods. Bell was booked for assault with a deadly weapon, but he posted bail and was released. Slayton also claimed Bell flung large rocks at him. Bell (26-1-1) was in Big Bear, California training for a March 17 rematch title fight with Jean-Marc Mormeck in Paris.
