Joan Guzamn's manager J. Nunez told Boxingtalk.com, "After a win against a strong thai competitor Tersdak Jandaeng I know we can beat anyone in the featherweight division" stated J Nunez, manager to the former junior featherweight champion Joan Guzman. Guzman just came off a Friday night victory against Jandaeng at the Westchester County Center, claiming his first win at 126lbs. Guzman has beaten three undefeated competitors in a row and is willing to take on many more. "We would like to thank Sycuan Ringside Promotions and the WBO president, Francisco Varcacel, for allowing us the opportunity to move up in weight and conquer another division. We were willing to take on anyone at 122lbs, now we are willing to do the same at 126lbs and even possibly 130lbs" said Nunez. He finished of by stating that "Team Guzman and I are willing to fly to Scotland to face Scott Harrison and I hope he is ready for us. Watching Guzman fight at 126lbs I know that he is stronger and more comfortable in this weight class. The world has yet to see the best of Guzman".
