Noel Reyes of the Dominican Republic is getting the biggest fght of his career at age 37. Reyes will face an ancient Venezuelan, Nehomar Cermeño, this Friday night in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic in a super bantamweight contest. Reyes (17-4) is a native of La Vega, in the Dominican Republic, and is in the midst of a great streak fighting at home, where he has won ten fights from 2018 to the present. His last fight saw him knock out Diego Alberto Ruiz in three rounds in November 12, 2023. Cermeño, age 44, was a 2000 Olympian and twice held WBA secondary titles. Cermeño has 27 wins, 9 losses and 1 draw but has fought only twice since 2018.
