Boxingtalk was just informed by Willie Savannah (Trainer of WBA Champ Juan Diaz) that the rescheduled purse-bid  or the Diaz-Lakva Sim fight was a total bust. No promoters even showed with the exception of only one, a local promoter. There were no bids for this fight. The WBA said that they will hold a meeting once they return to Venezuela to possibly set another purse-bid since this one was put together only a few days ago. The sad part of this news is that Diaz’s promoter (Main Events) did not even show up to support their own champion. REMEMBER WHERE YOU HEARD IT FIRST! (1:24 pm est)
