The third of three shows planned by MTK Global in Dubai (in association with D4G Promotions and Round 10 Boxing Club) will take place on Saturday April 3rd and is likely to have a  Filipino flavor. Nothing is set in stone but the plan is for four-weight champion Donnie Nietes (pictured) to return to action. Nietes (42-1-5) has not fought since the last day of 2018, when he defeated Japan's Kazuto Ioka by split decision to win the WBO 115-pound title. That win looks even better now that Ioka regained the title and later entered pound-for-pound lists with a recent win in a Japanese superfight vs. Kosei Tanaka. Also preparing for April 3rd action is  Albert Pagara, another Filipino. Pagara is a 33-1 super bantamweight. MTK hopes to announce Nietes' and Pagara's respsective opponents shortly.
