On Saturday as part of a ProBox TV event at the Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, Florida, Nicklaus Flaz will square off in a welterweight bout against Christian Gomez. Flaz has a record of 13 wins, 2 losses and 9 knockouts. In July, Flaz defeated Alfredo Escarcega by technical knockout in the fourth round. From Vega Alta, Puerto Rico, Flaz looks to extend his win streak to five. He also holds victories over Brian Ceballo, Jahi Tucker and Luke Santamaria. The 28 year-old Flaz faces the 30 year-old Gomez (23-4-1, 21 KOs), from Guadalajara, Mexico, who is coming off a fifth-round TKO over Jesus Acosta Zazueta in April. Gomez first made a name for himself in the United States when he faced current top contender Shakhram Giyasov in 2022, losing by unanimous decision.
