Now fighting as a lightweight, Walters took a unanimous decision from Joseph Adorno in Plant City Florida. The Jamaican prevailed by scores of 95-94, 97-92 and 98-91. This is the third win of Walter's comeback, but Adorno was several levels above Walters' last two opponents. Adorno (18-4-2) was penalized a point for hitting Walters after the bell sounded to end round nine. The 38 year-old Walters had a very strong round ten to put an exclamation point on his career-reviving win.
