The middle eastern city of Dubai will host a free-swinging heavyweight battle between New York's Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller (pictured) and Australia's Lucas “Big Daddy” Browne of Australia on Saturday, March 18th at Agenda Arena in the United Arab Emirates. Miller (25-0-1, 21 KOs) and Browne (31-3, 27 KOs) [both of whom have had issues with performance enhancing drugs in the past] will meet in the ten-round main event of a show promoted by Anatoly Sulyanov's Hardcore Boxing. In the ten-round super featherweight co-feature, Ireland’s Jono “King Kong” Carroll (23-2-1, 7 KOs) will face Miguel “The Scorpion” Marriaga (30-6, 26 KOs). Also highlighting the exciting action will be a ten-round heavyweight battle between former amateur star Soslan “Cobra” Asbarov (3-0, 1 KO) and Brandon "Bulletproof" Glanton (17-1, 14 KOs).
The undercard also has 23 year-old MMA fighter Samat Abdyrakhmanov (1-0), originally from Kyrgyzstan, in his second pro boxing match, a six-round middleweight battle against 28 year-old Nicolas David “Mazazo” Veron (10-9-1, 3 KOs) of Argentina... in an eight-round cruiserweight war, 31 year-old Kureysh Sagov (8-2, 4 KOs) of Cheremkhovo will take on Las Vegas-based Ali Baloyev (12-1, 8 KOs), also from Kyrgyzstan. Several more matches are scheduled... no cameras are permitted in the arena on fight night.
