New opponent for Penalosa

Press Release: Gerry Penalosa (48-5-2, 33 KOs) has a new opponent but will still headline a show this Friday, June 10, at the National Guard Armory in Lynn, Massachusetts. Penalosa, rated #17 in the world by Boxingtalk at 115 pounds, will square off against Felix Murillo (15-3), who replaced Colombian veteran Reynaldo Hurtado. 2003 Pan-Am Games silver medalist Castulo “El Poderoso” Gonzalez, originally from Guatemala, in his first six-round match faces featherweight John Seme in the co-feature. Also on the card in four-round matches are local heavyweight Matt Coppola against Elija Dickens; Dominican junior middleweight Angel Vargas faces Rashand Bland; junior middleweight Andy Rivera will battle David Johnson.
