Turhan triumphed by technical knockout at 1:05 of the fifth round, finishing off Ferreira with a flair rarely seen in women's boxing. The Brazilian Ferreira is 8-1 overall but had won four straight IBF title bouts after Katie Taylor vacated. Turhan is now 12-0.
