Eric “The Outlaw” Hunter Vs. Tyrell Samuel

Press Release: Joe Deguardia's Star Boxing in association with the Atlanta KO Kings today announced an opponent change for Friday's August 3, 2007 “Crossroads Collision” co-feature. Eric “The Outlaw” Hunter (7-1, 3 KOs) will now face Baltimore native Tyrell Samuel (9-1, 5KOs) in an eight-round featherweight contest. Hunter was originally matched up with Mexico City's Joel Santiago (8-0, 2 KOs), but Santiago suffered a training camp injury and is unavailable for the fight.  “Eric Hunter is a multifaceted boxer with a boundless potential.” stated DeGuardia. “With every performance he continues to improve and impress.” Hunter, a Philadelphia native, is a former Jr. Olympic champion and an alternate on the 2004 United States Olympic Team. As an amateur, Hunter faced the nation's top talent and compiled 159 wins against just 4 losses.
