Natasha Jonas crushes Kandi Wyatt for vacant IBF welterweight title

Natasha Jonas TKO8 Kandi Wyatt... Natasha Jonas is now a two-division champion. She picked up the vacant IBF welterweight title with an easy win over Canada's Kandi Wyatt in Manchester, England on Saturday. Coming down from junior middleweight, Jonas defeated Wyatt by eighth-round technical knockout. Wyatt was never down, but she was staggered in round one and bleeding freely from her nose during much of the action. Wyatt made no complaint about the stoppage. Jonas (14-2-1) still holds three belts at 154 pounds, but given her small frame, she seems likely to stay at welter and seek a bout vs. the real world welterweight champion, Jessica McCaskill. Wyatt (11-5) has now failed in four world title shots.
