N'Dou-Witter Back On!

Having just spoken with the Black Panther Lovemore N’dou, he informed BoxingTalk that his fight with Junior Witter on the undercard of Hopkins-Eastman is indeed back on.  “We managed to renegotiate the entire contract, and I’m quite happy with the outcome.”  N’dou had pulled out earlier this week due to the fact that he was told before leaving his home of Australia that his fight with Witter was a WBC title eliminator, but was then told differently when he arrived in the States.  As N’dou explains, “This fight will now be a WBC title eliminator depending on what Floyd Mayweather does (referring to Mayweather’s legal problems), otherwise the winner of my bout will face Arturo Gatti.”  The Black Panther is also satisfied with his new contract because it no longer requires that Hennessy Promotions has any options on N’dou.  Lovemore stated that he is glad to be back in the ring, and that this fight is going to be good for both he and Witter, as well as all boxing fans.  When asked if his fight being an “on again – off again” situation would effect his performance in the ring, N’dou responded with an emphatic, “No way!”  He continued, “Even when the fight was off I still prepared as though I was still fighting, so I am still mentally and physically ready for Witter, in fact all this has made me mad, so now I’m really going to destroy Witter.”
