Anthony Mundine W12 Danny Green... Speed prevailed over power in Australia as Anthony Mundine defeated Danny Green in a showdown between two of the country's most popular boxers this side of Kostya Tszyu. In the second half of the super middleweight contest, the powerful Green was reduced to following Mundine around the ring and eating jabs while headhunting for one big punch. That punch never landed and Mundine went on to win by scores of  118-111, 118-112 and 116-113. Mundine, now 26-3, is in line to face Mikkel Kessler of Denmark for a shot at winning his old 168-pound WBA title back. Green, now 19-3, acknowledged defeat afterwards.  The fight was shown locally on pay-per-view, and rowdy fans who crowded around outside bars to catch a glimpse of the action wound up getting into mass brawls in the city of Perth. source: AFP, abc.net.au
