Mosquera indicted for Murder

Panamanian boxer and former champion Vincente Mosquera, 24-2 with 12 KOs, has been indicted for murder in Panama.  Allegedly, the former WBA super featherweight champion shot and killed Antonio Trejos during a scuffle that left three other people injured with bullet wounds at a beach resort, according to prosecutor Tulia Pardo.  Arrest warrants are also due for accomplices Jose Arboleda, 22-2 (8 KO's), who is currently the WBA #1 contender in the 122-pound division, and Evan Beltran who is accused of "concealment."  Mosquera defended his WBA super featherweight title twice before being stopped in the 10th round in August of 2005 by Edwin Valero, 22-0 (22 KO's).  Source: Earth Times, Panama City, Panama.
