Morua-Crayton new headliner on Solo Boxeo

Press release: Lightweights Arturo "The Conqueror" Morua, 20-6-1 (13 KOs) and James "Too Sweet" Crayton, 33-19-2 (20 KOs) are the new headliners in a scheduled ten round bout as Dominic Pesoli's 8 Count Productions and Top Rank presents the  Aragon Rumble, to be broadcast internationally as part of Telefutura's Solo Boxeo weekly Friday night professional boxing series.

Morua was last seen in Chicago on September 10th as he upset world ranked Omar Weis. Last month, he defeated world ranked Carlos Maussa in Miami, FL winning the WBO Latino Junior Welterweight Title. Morua will look to continue his winning ways as he steps in against Crayton who most recently dropped a very close decision to top contender Javier Jauregui this past July. Crayton has faced very tough competition in his career, losing decisions to world champions Julio Diaz, Juan Lazcano, Gabriel Rueles and Stevie Johnston.  Most recently he has upset wins over Ernesto Zepeda and Rogelio Castaneda.

The co-main event features a crosstown/showdown as Chicagoans Miguel Hernandez, 14-1 (9KOs) and Shay Mobley, 7-4-1 (2KOs) square off in a scheduled eight round slugfest. Hernandez is currently riding an eight bout winning streak and looks to continue his steady rise in the middleweight class. Mobley of One In a Million Boxing, was last seen in Chicago last June in a six round  bout against David Estrada broadcast on ESPN2.

Said Hernandez about the fight, "its going to be a tough match for me, Mobley 's going to come to fight and I'm sure he'll have his supporters and I'm sure I'll have mine. Hopefully, its another step up the ladder for me."

In a special six round attraction,  middleweight prospects Carlos Molina, 4-1 (2KOs) of Green Bay, WI and Joe Lynch, 4-0 (2KOs) of Buffalo, MN will square off. Molina last appeared in Chicago this past September in a very hard fought battle against Jonathan Ogden.  Lynch made his Chicago debut two months ago cruising to a four round decision over Trinidad Garcia. Other Chicagoland fan favorites on the card include featherweight sensation Frankie Tafoya, middleweight Ottu Holifield, the pro debut of amateur standout Francisco Rodriguez and female newcomer Rita Figueroa.

Stated Dominic Pesoli, President of 8 Count Productions, "its a new year and our commitment to our growing loyal following is to continue to bring them "The Best in Chicago Boxing." We've updated our website at www.8countproductions.com and our huge fan base will find information updated there on an almost daily basis. There's plenty happening at 8 Count Productions and we'll continue to keep our fans informed on a continuous basis."
