Press release: On Monday, David ‘The Hayemaker’ Haye will formally announce his impending world cruiserweight championship fight with France’s Jean-Marc Mormeck. The fight between Mormeck and Haye is scheduled to take place on November 10, 2007 at the Palais des Sports Marcel Cerdan in Paris, France. Promoted by Frank Maloney, Haye, 19-1, is straining at the leash to get his hands on Mormeck’s championship. Mormeck, 35, is currently 33-3 (22) as a professional and, in March 2007, won both the WBC and WBA versions of the cruiserweight title from rival O’Neil Bell in a thrilling 12-rounder.The Guadeloupe-born champion has been a pro for over 12 years and is universally-recognised as the number one cruiserweight in the world.
