Reports out of Puerto Rico say ex-flyweight titlist Eric Morel (Boxingtalk’s #12 junior bantamweight) will return to action on October 29 at the Pedrin Zorilla Gymnasium near San Juan.  Morel’s opponent is expected to be Raul Jaurez, 32-10, who just lost a WBC title bid to Katsushige Kawashima.  Morel, 34-1, has fought once in the 115-pound category since losing his 112-pound title to Lorenzo Parra last December.  According to the BBC, Jason Cook (Boxingtalk’s #20 lightweight) will face Phillip N’Dou on November 5, 2004 in Hereford, UK.  N’dou is rated higher by Boxingtalk (#17) but has dropped two bouts in a row (Floyd Mayweather and Isaac Hlatshwayo).
