The hard-fought, fast-paced contest was held in Italy, where Morejon is now based. From the opening bell, Morejón imposed precise and impactful  boxing, showcasing accuracy at mid-range and a markedly higher work rate. Alagic put up strong resistance and tried to turn the tide with explosive combinations, but the Morejon's control was evident and prevalent in most rounds. The official scorecards confirmed Morejón’s superiority: 98-92 and 97-93 (twice). With this win, Morejón improves his record to 9-0 while Alagic falls to 12-1-2.
