Jim Rock TKO7 Kevin Phelan... On the Bernard Dunne undercard, Jim "the Pink Panther" Rock made it a hat trick of titles after he landed the vacant Irish middleweight crown with a seventh-round stoppage of Kevin Phelan. Rock hit Phelan-a late replacement for Lee Murtagh- with a superb right uppercut 2 minutes and 59 seconds into  round seven to add the Irish middleweight crown to the Irish supermiddleweight title he already wons, plus a minor world title. Duddy's manager Eddie McLoughlin was at the Stadium last night and he said that they would wait until after Derry born Duddys next fight before making any decisions.
