Viddal Riley TKO3 Dan Garber ... London rivals Isaac Chamberlain and Viddal Riley faced off in a Liverpool ring after Riley (12-0) stopped Dan Garber (7-4) in round two of their cruiserweight fight. Riley had not left the ring before it was announced that a Riley vs. Chamberlain fight is for London on February 1st.  "Sounds about time to me. The paths have aligned now," Riley said. "It was perfect," Riley said of the Garber performance. "I wanted to push it and get the most out of it. Because the man that’s staring at me right now will require more than that."

 

Mark Jeffers TKO3 Joshua Quartey... British super middleweight Mark Jeffers doesn't have too many knockouts on his record, but he stopped Joshua Quartey in round three on the Boxxer show in Liverpool. Jeffers (19-0) first found success with a right that knocked Quartey (10-1) down. A left hook to the body bowled Quartey over a second time. He only just beat that count and Jeffers swarmed all over him. A left hook thuds into the head and that's enough for the referee to end it in the third round.

 

On January 11th, Callum Simpson fights Steed Woodall for the British and Commonwealth super middleweight titles. Jeffers wants the winner of that fight next. "I do think he beats him," Jeffers said. "Callum Simpson for me in Britain is the biggest name. It's nothing personal for me, it's business."
