"I am going into the most important fight of my boxing career," Erik 'El Terrible' Morales said today at his jammed-packed Media Day in Mexico City. I am aware of the importance of this fight and I know what Pacquaio will bring - speed and power. I am prepared to dig in and fight the fight of my life." There were over 200 fight fans crammed into the Nuevo Jordan gym in Mexico City where Morales put on headgear and sparred six rounds before seven TV cameras and over two dozen fight writers. Morales dug in hard for two rounds against undefeated Steven Luevano, one of three sparring partners at the workout. "I'm ready to fight, go to war," Morales said. "I know the importance of this fight and I know what Pacquaio brings." Tonight, Morales will be at ringside and will discuss how he will fight Pacquiao on a Top Rank championship fight card televised live by Telefutura in Mexico City.Morales will arrive at the MGM Grand on Tuesday. He will have a 'Grand Arrival' in the MGM lobby at approximately 5 pm local time. Morales vs. Pacquiao is scheduled March 19 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, live on HBO Pay Per View.
