Mijares makes easy work of Arce

Christian Mijares UD12 Jorge Arce: WBC 115 pound champion Christian Mijares put on a boxing clinic as he virtually shut out favored former two time champion, Jorge Arce. The lean lefty dominated the action from the opening bell by keeping the shorter Arce at the end of his punches. After four one sided rounds, Arce and Mijares went toe to toe in the fifth. Although it was Arce's best round of the bout, he still didn't land enough clean punches to win the frame on Boxingtalk's card. Mijares resumed battering Arce from pillar to poast from rounds six through twelve as he turned the popular two time champ's face into a bloddy mask. Arce didn't take a single round on Boxingtalk's scorecard. Official scores were 119-109, 118-110, 117-111. Source: Top Rank PPV
