Manuel Gallegos TKO8 Khalil Coe... Mexican light heavyweight Manuel ‘Meño’ Gallegos (21-2-1) upset New Jersey's Khalil Coe (9-1-1) this Saturday in Philadelphia with a determined, gritty and irresistible  performance. At the beginning of the fight, Coe kept his distance with a powerful jab, but as the rounds progressed, Gallegos, who was superbly conditioned, took charge by shortening the distance and connecting with power punches to his rival’s body. In the fifth round, Gallegos sent Coe to the canvas with a crunching body shot. In the thirty seconds before the end of the seventh round, Gallegos again sent Coe to the canvas with a powerful right uppercut to the chin. The finale came in the eighth round when Gallegos applied the same combination on an exhausted Coe to send him to the canvas for the third time, and the referee stopped the fight.
