Press Release: Lion Heart Boxing Productions has announced the co-feature for its Thursday Night Fights show at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City. That bout will pit former Brazilian light welterweight champion Antonio Mesquita (31-0) against former regional titlist Santos Pakau (27-1). The bout has been sanctioned for the Utah State welterweight championship. Mesquita fights out of St. George, Utah and continues his comeback from a year and a half layoff.  Also, Utah’s most popular heavyweight, Billy Zumbrun, has also been added to the undercard, while the main event is still scheduled to be Chauncy Welliver defending his regional title against “Twin Tyson” Cliff Couser.  Tickets for this eight-fight event are $20 to $60 with discounts if you buy your tickets before the event.
