Joe Mesi W4 Jason Weiss... Joe Mesi still has not found the magic that that made him a heavyweight contender a few years ago. True, he scored his fourth straight win since returning from a brain injury, but in Manistee, Michigan on Friday, Mesi struggled to a four-round win over a novice, Jason Weiss, 3-2. Fighting the level of opponent he used to blow out in a round or two, Mesi won all four rounds on all three official scorecards to improve to 33-0 but got hit enough that his left eye was swollen afterwards. source: buffalo news
