Heavyweight Joe Mesi's June 2, 2007 fight with Rafael Pedro, the first real test of his comeback from a brain injury, has been called off due to a claimed back injury suffered by Mesi. However, the very first fight card at the new L'Auberge du Lac Hotel and Casino in Lake Charles, Louisiana will still go on, and the rumored new main event  will feature 19-0 Chris Henry from Houston, Texas. Henry holds a regional title in the light heavyweight division. Christy Martin is still scheduled to appear in the co-feature.
