Medina Vies for WBC United States Jr. Middleweight Title on ESPN

Mesquita in for Soto-Karass

Press release: David Medina will now be bumped to the co-main event on ESPN Wednesday Night Fights and will be fighting for the WBC United States Jr Middleweight Belt against Charles Blake of Escondido, CA.  Also, replacement Jesus Soto-Karass has been pulled off the card with an injury as well.  In for Soto-Karass will be undefeated Welterweight Antonio Mesquita of Guaruja, Brazil.  Mesquita holds an impressive 32-0 25KO record.  Neil Sinclair is still the opponent.

An appearent injury looked like it would sideline Marvin Cordova from this card.  However, further test revealed no serious damage and he will fight as scheduled, only in a six rounder against an opponent to be named later in a swing bout.  Cordova had this to say, " I'm willing and ready to go, for a minute there I was frustrated because I thought I was going to have to pullout, but hopefully i'll get the chance to show a national viewing audience what "Much 2 Much" is all about"   Chantell Cordova is still scheduled to take on debuter Marqueza Cardova of Puerto Rico.  Newest Jewboy Promotions signing, Super Middleweight Carlos De Leon Jr, will square off against Oscar Montono of Phoenix, Arizona.  Ryan Peake is matched up in a 4 rounder super middleweight bout against TBA.  And just added to the line-up, Bantemweight Torrence Daniels will fight in a 4 rounder against Randy Ortega.
