Medgoen Krathingdaeng Gym aka MedNgoen Singhsurat retained his regional junior bantamweigh title by sixth-round TKO over Filipino Leo Escobido aka Ramie Gonzaga at Central Sports Stadium in Phisanulok Province, Thailand on January 14th. The Thai fighter, rated #4 by the WBC, dropped his foe with two big body shots followed by right hook to the jaw. The referee counted to eight before waving for TKO at 1:45 of round six. Medgoen is the former WBC flyweight king who got his title with a 1999 knock out of future Filipino idol, Manny "The Destroyer" Pacquiao. On the undercard, Fahpetchnoi Krathingdaeng Gym aka Fahpetchnoi Sor Chitpattana registered a second-round TKO over Rimil Anito fron the Phillipines, at 0:54 of round. Also, Thai light flyweight boss, Yodsaenkeng Por Chumchok scored a fourth-round TKO over Petchdam Sithsaithong. Finally, Saithong Sithsaithong won a six-round decision over an Iranian boxer, Fageh Abbas.
