Former WBC heavyweight champion Oliver “Atomic Bull” McCall and 1990s heavyweight contender Ike “The President” Ibeabuchi are being advertised to meet on November 26th in an unusual battle of veteran heavyweights. Ibeabuchi is 21-1 but his last fight was a low-level loss in 2025.  The proposed fight is insane: McCall is 61 years old and his last fight was in 2025, a loss to a boxer with a losing record. McCall (61-14-1) won the WBC heavyweight championship in 1994 by stopping the great Lennox Lewis. Ibeabuchi is 53 years old and defeated Chris Byrd (who would go on to become a heavyweight champion) and David Tua in the 1990s before serving a long prison sentence. 

 

Perhaps equally unusual is the way PrizeFighting.TV is marketing the event. The company is already accepting advance purchases of the $9.95 pay-per-view, telling fans to “Pre-purchase now and be part of the night.” PrizeFighting lists a 2 p.m. New York start time, but no venue is named on the event page. Despite reports elsewhere that the event is contingent upon reaching a specified number of advance purchases, PrizeFighting’s own event page does not state any minimum sales requirement.
