Leonard Ellerbe, advisor to pound for pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr has informed Boxingtalk.com that, "It appears Oscar De La Hoya does not plan on fighting again this year, therfore Floyd's next fight will take place on HBO PPV on November 4." Ellerbe also informed Boxingtalk.com that HBO has penciled Mayweather in for a February 24, his birthday. According to Ellerbe those in the running for Mayweather's November 4 date are, "the Mosley-Vargas winner, Antonio Margarito, Ricky Hatton, Miguel Cotto and Carlos Baldomir if beats Gatti.
