"I found out about (headlining this event) about a couple of days ago but I've been training since September, for a while now. It's a beautiful thing headlining at the Garden because I get to show the world what I'm truly about and that I am the best pound for pound fighter out there. Forget what the best say I'm going to show you who the best is." Read on to see what else the undisputed welterweight champion of the world had to say.

GL A lot of people consider Floyd Mayweather Jr to be the best right now. Obviously you're about to hear a lot of Mayweather questions when you get into the press conference. Tell us about that potential mega-fight on April 8.

Zab Judah: "He's a pretty girl you know what I'm saying? I'm just hoping he signs the contract and I'm going to solve the rest."

GL: What do you know about Baldomir and does he go the distance?

Zab Judah: "I know he worked himself into the position to become #1 mandatory and I respect him for that, but I'm here to do what I do best and that's destroy."

GL: With the Mayweather fight on the horizon, how important is it for you to make a statement while you headline at the Garden?

Zab Judah: "Mayweather gotta sign the contract first. When he signs a contract it's going to be a beautiful thing I promise you."

GL: As it stands today what do you think the chances of the fight happening are?

Zab Judah: "I don't know. It's about heart. My part of the deal is done already now it's about him being a man with balls and stepping up to the plate to sign the contract. I've never ducked down or backed down with anybody"

GL: If the fight with Mayweather can't get done for whatever reason who would you like to get it on with in 2006?

Zab Judah: "Possibly the winner of Mosley and Vargas, Cotto, Kostya Tszyu, Ricky Hatton, nothing but the best...De La Hoya. I don't care, I've never ducked anyone and all I want to do is fight the best."

GL: As hard as you've worked to make history and become the undisputed welterweight champion, why is it I'm hearing the fight with Mayweather is going to be a non-title affair?

Zab Judah: "Because Floyd is a bitch ass nigga, but I'm not mad at that you know what I'm saying? Get your balls up Mayweather, don't be scared, let's do what we do best and fight. We're in the hurt business right now and you can't run from the best."

GL: Is it bad for boxing if this fight doesn't take place for the titles?

Zab Judah: "Definitely. This is what the world wants to see. Welterweight is a division that everyone wants to be undisputed at. Sugar Ray Robinson, Sugar Ray Leonard, the best. Everyone wanted to be the best at welterweight. Right now I can say that I'm the king of welterweights. What Mayweather is doing is fronting right now, he's fighting those washed up guys, Sharmba Mitchell, Arturo Gatti those are guys that if I wanted to fight they would straight up tell you, hell no. I ain't mad at that right there.
