"El Matador" Addition To Braithwaite-Mormeck Looking Good!

Sources close to the situation have informed Boxingtalk.com that former welterweight king Ricardo "El Matador" Mayorga will likely return to the ring on Showtime Championship Boxing on April 2. As we first informed you of a while back, Don King Productions has secured the April 2 Showtime date for the eagerly anticipated cruiserweight unification bout between Wayne Braithwaite and Jean Marc Mormeck. WBO junior middleweight champion Daniel Santos appears to be under very strong consideration, but nothing is done yet. Boxingtalk.com also understands that undefeated WBA (regular)junior middlweight champ Travis Simms in on the short list of opponents as well. Don King was unavailable for immediate comment.
