DeLuca (1-0, 1 KO), fighting out of Whitman (MA), was the gold medal winner at the 2004 National Silver Gloves Tournament and  turned pro this past April 7, defeating Elija Dickens who was unable to continue after spraining his ankle in the opening round. DeLuca’s opponent tonight is super middleweight Steve Young (0-1) in a four-round bout. Six-round cruiserweights bouts on tap include Tim “The Hammer” Flamos (18-3-1, 7 KOs) against Eric “Cheerio” Olds (4-4-1, 3 KOs); Chris McInerney (8-0-1, 5 KOs), 2005 ESPN2 Fight of the Year participant, faces upset-minded Gary Lavender (2-8, 2 KOs). Also, New Hampshire middleweight Jose “Stinger” Medina (10-8, 4 KOs) meets Daniel “Da Man” Craycraft (11-17-3, 2 KOs) in a six-round bout. Tickets will be on sale fight night at Freeport Hall.
