Raul Marquez TKO9 Miguel Hernandez... At the Coushatta Casino in Louisiana, former IBFÂ junior middleweight titleholder Raul Marquez made his comeback a successful one against tough-as-nails Miguel "Macho" Hernandez. In what was one of the best fights ever at the Coushatta, Marquez and Hernandez traded blows non-stop for nine rounds until Marquez dropped Hernandez with a barrage of punches at 1:39 of the round. Hernandez rose from the first knockdown of his career at the count of eight but the referee wisely stopped the fight with Miguel not yet fully recovered. Although in 2004 he was stopped by current world champion Jermain Taylor, Marquez looked will now look for a possible showdown with one of the top middleweights as he moves to 36-3. Hernandez dips to 19-4 but should not be ashamed of his brave performance.
