Marquez dominates Polo

Victor Polo came up short for a fifth time in a featherweight world title bid, but for the first time, he cannot claim he was robbed. Against Juan Manuel Marquez in Las Vegas, Polo was knocked down in the seventh round and clearly came up short. The official scorecards favored Marquez, Boxingtalk's #1 featherweight, by scores of 118-109, 119-108 and 120-107.With the victory, Marquez retains his IBF and WBA 126-pound championships. "After the first two round, I felt I had this fight," said Marquez afterwards, adding that he was considering moving up to the loaded 130-pound division but also wanted to unify the featherweight titles. source: Showtime
