Boxingtalk has been informed that featherweight king Juan Manuel Marquez's trip around the world to fight WBA champion Chris John has officially begun. As this goes to print, Marquez is currently flying from Mexico to Los Angeles. From Los Angeles, he will fly to Japan spend a night in Japan before flying to Jakarta, Indonesia. Marquez turned down $750,000 for the Manny Pacquiao rematch and now finds himself traveling around the world to fight Chris John on March 4, for $31,250 and John's regular WBA title.
