The International Boxing Federation (IBF) bantamweight title fight between champion Rafael Marquez and IBF No. 1 contender Silence Mabuza, originally scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 1, was postponed Monday when promoter Gary Shaw informed Showtime that Marquez was suffering from the flu.
This bantamweight world title fight has been rescheduled for SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING’s Nov. 5 event at Caesars Tahoe, which will be headlined by Jeff Lacy defending his IBF/IBO super middleweight titles against Scott Pemberton.
