Mark Cuban offers Fedor Emelianenko MMA Promotional Contract

Mark Cuban, the rebellious owner of the Dallas Mavericks NBA franchise, has offered Fedor Emelianenko a Mixed Martial Arts promotional contract.  After contract talks between Emelianenko, the recognized heavyweight Mixed Martial Arts heavyweight champion from Pride, and the UFC broke down, the billionaire media mogul offered Fedor a contract which will broadcast many of his fights on HDnet, an HD channel which broadcasts a very successful "Friday Fight Night" series.  Although the UFC has been very successful in the last few years with their "Ultimate Fighter" reality show and major PPV sales, the company has been criticised for not paying their fighters true market value, which in turn has made them susceptible to other MMA promoters who are willing to pay more.  Many MMA insiders regard Fedor as the "true" MMA heavyweight champion and not UFC's Randy Couture.
