Boxingtalk just spoke with former world champ, "Jesse" James Leija and learned that a fight between ex-welterweight titlist Antonio Margarito and Golden Johnson is in the works.  Contrary to what another website is reporting this fight is not a done deal as of yet, but Leija does confirm that it's close to being wrapped up.  Leija informed Boxingtalk that if this fight does come through, it will be part of the Miguel Cotto vs Shane Mosley card onNovember 10, 2007. On a related note, James Leija also informed Boxingtalk that he was recently hired by the San Antonio Spurs NBA franchise, as a conditioning trainer.  Leija works with the Spurs two days a week, teaching them hand and eye coordination, heavy bag, foot work, and additional boxing techniques that will be implemented into the Spurs training regimen.
