Press Release:  Mexican legend Manuel Medina of Tijuana, Mexico, headlines the main event on the “Guilty Fight Night” card presented by Guilty Boxing Friday, September 9, 2005 at El Foro in Tijuana. Currently the IBF mandatory contender at 130 pounds, the ex-featherweight champion will face Miguel Angel GalinMedina-Galindo main event replaces the bout between Francisco Javier Olvera and Carlos Ramirez. The 27-year-old Galindo claims an unverified record of 27-14 and is coming off a win Aug. 27 in Mexico City where he stopped Alejo Ramirez in the third round. Medina held the IBF featherweight championship three times: during 1991 to 1993, 1998-1999 and 2001-2002.  He also was the WBC titlist during 1995 and the WBO champion during 2003. Medina, who turned pro almost 20 years ago at age 14, has a record of 64-14 with 30 knockouts.  Of his past 44 bouts, 29 have been for world or regional championships.
