After winning “Boxer of the Year” honors for seven straight years, Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao will be inducted into the Elorde Boxing Hall of Fame. The hall was named after Gabriel “Flash” Elorde who was Jr. Lightweight world champion for 7 years stretching from 1960 to 1967. The Banquet of Champions is held annually on March 25th, Elorde’s birthday. Nonito Donaire, Gerry Penalosa, Florante Condes, and Donnie Nietes will share boxer of the year honors. Best promoter, manager, fight and prospect will also be honored. Source: Inquirer.net
