Boxingtalk.com receieved a call from Jeff Wald, the executive producer and partner of the Tournament of Cotender group. Wald informed us that TOC has been in discussions with Gary Shaw for a Peter Manfredo-Jeff Lacy showdown later this year. According to Wald, Manfredo Jr trainer Freddie Roach was mistaken when he informed Boxingtalk's Brad Cooney that Manfredo could be fighting Joe Calzaghe.
