Press Release: Philadelphia heavyweight Malik Scott (26-0, 10 KOs) takes on Ramon Hayes (15-22-1) in the scheduled eight-round main event this Thursday, February 22, 2007 at the Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino in Lemoore, California. Former WBA Featherweight champion Freddie Norwood (40-1-1, 22 KOs, St. Louis, MO) will also don the gloves in a lightweight bout, reportedly against Armando Cordoba, 23-32-2.  Presented by Goossen Tutor Promotions, the Scott-Hayes match up is just one of three heavyweight contests on the card. Other heavyweight pairings include Teke Oruh (12-0-1, 6 KOs) against John Clark (12-8-1, 7 KOs) and Manuel Quezada (17-4, 12 KOs) taking on Jeffrey Brownfield (9-5, 4 KOs).  In addition, there will be two women's 10-round battles featuring Jessica Rakoczy and Carino Moreno in separate bouts.  Rakoczy (25-2, 10 KOs) will battle Kellie Cofer (13-4-4, 3 KOs) at lightweight and Moreno (11-1, 4 KOs) will face Suzannah Warner (7-3, 2 KOs) at flyweight.
